About Myself.
My name is Lilia Hamblin. I am happy to introduce my Dental Hygiene Independent Practice. I provide my services in two locations: Villa Medical Family Clinic, Newberg and Northwest Naturopathic clinic, Portland.
I have been a dental hygienist for over 4 years and I have worked in a variety of private and public health dental settings in the Portland and Seattle areas. I graduated from Pacific University, Hillsboro, OR with a bachelor degree in dental hygiene. I have an Expanded Practice Permit that allows me to provide dental hygiene services independently, without the supervision of a dentist.
My professional philosophy
I work side by side with medical professionals to increase public awareness about the importance of oral health as a part of overall general health and well being. I am very excited to bring high quality, affordable dental hygiene services to my patients. The appointment time is based on your individual oral health needs and might last from 45 min to 2 hours. I make every effort to maximize your level of comfort in a dental chair. I provide very thorough and gentle dental cleaning, also using numbing gel if necessary.
Note: Patients should always see their dentist for a complete dental exam at least once a year.
Treatment
On the first appointment NEW patients should expect comprehensive periodontal evaluation, radiographs, and dental cleaning. Whitening sessions don`t require periodontal evaluation and radiographs. However, I strongly recommend getting dental cleaning done prior to any teeth bleaching to achieve the best whitening results.
Financial Policy
I try to keep my prices very reasonable. I believe that dental preventative care should be affordable for everybody. For the convenience of my patients, I accept most dental insurances, credit cards, checks, and cash. Full payment is due at time of service.
Cancellation and no-show policy
Office hours are by appointment and we do value your time. Appointment time is reserved for you alone. When you make an appointment, please be sure you will be able to keep it. If you cannot make an appointment as scheduled, please notify the office at least 24 hours in advance. There will be a charge of $25 for a broken appointment or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice for your appointment. If our staff is successful in filling your appointment with another patient, there will be no broken appointment charge.
